If you’ve ever wished you could literally taste a piece of art, your dream is now a reality. ARTE and Louvre Abu Dhabi have joined forces to create a groundbreaking experience where museum pieces are transformed into edible works of art. Running until September 28, this unique exhibition is a treat for both art enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

ARTE, known for its innovative fusion of desserts and visual arts, and Louvre Abu Dhabi, a cultural landmark since its opening in 2017, have come together to offer this sensory feast. Guests can indulge in edible sculptures inspired by some of the museum’s most iconic pieces. Imagine biting into a dessert modeled after the ancient Pyramidion Inscribed with the Name of Huy or savoring a mummy cake that pays homage to the museum’s ancient Egyptian collection.

The exhibition features desserts inspired by various artifacts, such as the Chinese Winged Dragon, a Greek Military Helmet, and the intricately carved ivory sculpture of Canister Tower. There’s also a patisserie booth within the museum offering delicacies like cakes modeled after Paul Klee’s “Oriental Bliss” and ornate Chinese blue-and-white dishes.

In addition to the edible art, the museum’s café will feature a curated dessert menu, with each dish reflecting the museum’s vast art collection. Whether you’re there to marvel at the art or satisfy your sweet tooth, this exhibition offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

The Edible Art Exhibition is open daily from 10 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays, extending to 8:30 pm on weekends. Admission is Dhs 60 for adults and Dhs 30 for children under 13.
