Dubai to Host International AI Conference Focused on Public Services and Education

Dubai will host a groundbreaking international conference in 2025, aimed at exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can be leveraged to enhance public services and elevate the quality of education. Organized by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in collaboration with the Emirates Identity and Citizenship Academy, the event is titled AI Innovations: Shaping the Future of Public Institutions and Enhancing Education Quality. It is scheduled to take place from April 15 to 17, 2025.

Announced during the prestigious Gitex Global 2024, the conference will spotlight Dubai's ongoing commitment to advancing research and development in AI, with a particular focus on the UAE's educational and scientific progress. Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the GDRFA, underscored the significance of AI in transforming the public sector and education: “We are committed to fostering scientific research and AI-driven innovations to improve services and raise the standard of education across various sectors.”

A Global Platform for AI and Innovation


The conference will gather top experts, researchers, and academics from across the globe to address crucial themes such as AI’s role in driving strategic transformation within public institutions, reshaping the future of learning, advancing sustainable development, and enhancing innovation in organizational management.

Featuring more than 200 presentations and scientific papers, the event will also include workshops and interactive sessions to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants. The conference targets professionals, academics, public sector employees, and university students, offering a unique platform for dialogue on the future impact of AI on both public services and education.
